As a Technical Manager, you play a key role in the realization of challenging wet infrastructure projects. You are responsible for the technical development of projects where mechanical structures (steel), electrical engineering, and industrial automation converge. You ensure that the technical design is not only robust in content but also feasible, manageable, and future-proof.
You take the lead in the entire technical process and work closely with specialists from various disciplines. Additionally, you have ample freedom to shape the design and engineering process according to your insights. With your expertise, you make a direct contribution to reliable and safe infrastructure, ensuring that the Netherlands remains accessible and protected.
Your tasks include:

Structuring technically complex issues and guiding the process from design to realization;

Translating functional requirements and project objectives into clear and well-thought-out technical solutions;

Coordinating and managing a multidisciplinary team consisting of mechanical, electrical, and industrial automation specialists;

Acting as the central point of contact for both clients and internal project teams;

Drafting technical quality and safety documentation, including plans for technical management and design safety;

Monitoring progress, quality, and costs within the design process;

Reviewing technical designs and documentation and ensuring appropriate technical purchasing conditions;

Involving execution and production early in the design phase and advising on feasibility and optimizations.
