The S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) Specialist supports the weekly operational alignment process by coordinating day-to-day execution across Finance, Manufacturing, Shipping, Sales, Demand Planning, and Order Management. Working under the direction of the S&OE Lead, the Specialist focuses on tracking the order-to-invoice process for HCEM Hitachi machines, flagging roadblocks early, safeguarding forecast accuracy across the near-term execution horizon, and driving the operational tasks needed to meet monthly shipment and invoicing targets.
Own and drive forecast accuracy across the near-term execution horizon – from 8 weeks ahead of the plan through the 3-month rolling forecast – continuously reconciling demand, order, and shipment signals to keep the plan reliable.
Track and update Month-to-Date (MTD) shipment and invoicing status daily, maintaining accurate dashboards and trackers for the S&OE Lead and stakeholders.
Prepare data, reports, and inputs ahead of the weekly cross-functional alignment meetings, and follow up on assigned action items to closure.
Monitor individual orders through the order-to-invoice cycle, identifying blockers (documentation, inventory, logistics, credit/finance holds) and escalating to the S&OE Lead with relevant context.
Coordinate directly with Manufacturing, Shipping, and Order Management contacts to confirm order readiness, shipment scheduling, and invoicing status.
Analyze gaps between actual shipments/invoices and targets at the order level, and support root-cause identification and mitigation tracking.
Partner with Demand Planning to challenge and refine forecast inputs within the 8-week-to-3-month window, ensuring the execution plan reflects the latest, most realistic outlook.
Support the execution of gap-closing actions such as order prioritization, alternative shipping arrangements, and expediting, as directed by the Lead.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by highlighting recurring issues and proposing process or reporting enhancements.
Ensure execution activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
