While operating across the Benelux region, this role has a strong focus on the BeLux markets (Belgium and Luxembourg), supporting the continued growth and localization of both brands in these key markets.
Role Summary
The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of integrated paid media campaigns for both BYD and DENZA across the Benelux region, with a strong focus on BeLux.
This role plays a key part in driving brand awareness, website traffic, and qualified lead generation through a full-funnel media approach, including digital channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as offline channels such as TV, radio, and out-of-home (OOH).
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on digital media execution skills with an understanding of traditional media planning. They are analytical, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Planning & Execution
Support the development and execution of integrated paid media plans for BYD and DENZA across Benelux, with a focus on BeLux markets.
Manage and optimize digital paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
Coordinate offline media campaigns including TV, radio, and OOH in collaboration with media suppliers and partners.
Ensure media plans align with brand objectives, target audiences, positioning, and market priorities across Belgium and Luxembourg.
Support creative rotations, messaging adaptation, and channel-specific execution tailored to both brands.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor daily campaign performance and support continuous optimization of targeting, bidding strategies, audiences, and creatives.
Track offline media performance using available metrics such as reach, frequency, and GRPs.
Identify insights and optimization opportunities across the full media mix.
Support A/B testing and experimentation to improve media efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting & Analysis
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly performance reports across all paid media channels.
Use analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance, user behavior, and funnel progression.
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Budget & Campaign Support
Support media budget tracking, pacing, and reconciliation across channels and markets.
Assist in budget allocation and reallocation based on performance insights.
Ensure efficient use of media spend aligned with campaign KPIs and business objectives.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with internal teams including design, product, and sales across Benelux markets.
Coordinate with external creative agencies, media suppliers, broadcasters, and platform partners.
Assist in internal processes including purchase orders, and coordination with finance and procurement teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in paid media, media planning, or performance marketing.
Hands-on experience managing digital paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
Understanding of offline media channels such as TV, radio, and OOH, including basic planning and measurement principles.
Experience working with media agencies, publishers, and platform partners.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.
Experience in automotive, mobility, or technology sectors is considered a plus.
Fluency in French and English is required. Dutch (Flemish) is strongly preferred.
