As a Manufacturing Engineer, you serve as the link between engineering and production. You are involved from the moment a design is finalized and ensure that products can be produced efficiently, reproducibly, and according to the highest quality standards. In doing so, you work closely with engineers, project teams, suppliers, and production departments.
No day is the same. One day you might be setting up a new production process, while the next you're analyzing a technical issue on the shop floor or initiating improvements in existing processes. Your responsibilities include:

Translating technical designs into an efficient and feasible production process.

Developing and implementing manufacturing and assembly processes.

Preparing work instructions, process documentation, and production routings.

Designing and implementing tools, tooling, and production equipment.

Evaluating designs in terms of manufacturability, quality, and feasibility.

Conducting analyses to further optimize processes.

Supporting the introduction of new products within production environments.

Identifying and implementing improvements in quality, efficiency, and lead times.

Acting as the technical point of contact for production, engineering, and other stakeholders.

Guiding improvement projects and implementations within the production environment.
