Lineage is the world’s largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions. For our site in Bergen op Zoom (Netherlands), one of our most advanced and fully automated warehouses, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician.
Our Bergen op Zoom facility is 100% automated and continuously evolving. We are currently expanding with a state-of-the-art new build, adding 77,000 additional pallet positions. This means working in a high-tech environment where engineering, innovation, and logistics come together.
Your Role
In this role, you ensure that our highly automated systems continue to operate at peak performance. You will carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on technical systems, installations, buildings, and site infrastructure.
You will work in a dynamic, high-tech environment where no two days are the same, and where engineering is at the heart of our logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to maintenance schedules

Independently troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues

Manage and order spare parts in line with procedures

Take responsibility for systems such as fire alarm installations, oxygen reduction systems, and cooling tower water treatment

Act as the first point of contact for issues within the Yard system

Collaborate closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient operations

Identify and report unsafe situations and (near) incidents in line with safety procedures

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards
Who You Are
We are looking for a proactive and independent technician with strong analytical skills and a passion for engineering.
You bring:

A technical background through education or work experience (mechanical, electrical or similar)

Experience with PLC-controlled and fully automated logistics systems (preferred)

A valid driver’s license

Willingness to work in a shift system and on-call duties

Flexibility to work overtime and participate in additional training if needed
