Program Manager – Data | Lead a Major Data Migration Transformation | Large Financial Enterprise
A large financial enterprise is looking for an experienced Program Manager – Data to lead a complex, multi-year data migration transformation. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, data teams and executive leadership, driving successful and timely migration across several interconnected initiatives.
About the role
You will lead the overall data migration across several data migration initiatives, aligning business transformation priorities with delivery on the ground. The role requires close coordination across internal IT, external BPO vendors and senior stakeholders, including at EXBO level.
You will:
- Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent data migration initiatives within a broader transformation programme
- Manage stakeholders at the most senior level, including EXBO, ensuring alignment across business, technology and data teams
- Coordinate delivery across internal IT teams and external BPO vendors
- Apply Agile and Prince2 methodologies to drive structured, timely programme delivery
Who are you?
- University or HBO level education with approximately 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Extensive experience with complex data and migration programmes
- Extensive project/programme management experience, preferably within financial institutions
- Highly experienced in senior stakeholder management, including EXBO level
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Prince2 methodologies
- Understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes and data mesh concepts
- Familiarity with data and analytical engineering and data architecture principles
- Knowledge of data management and governance principles such as DMBOK
- Professional skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch is required
