ABOUT THE JOB

As a Project & Field Engineer, you'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from preparing projects at our headquarters to commissioning robotic systems at customer sites across the globe. You'll work with advanced technology, support customers on-site, solve technical challenges, and help ensure every project is delivered successfully.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, international travel, and working directly with customers in a dynamic environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
At our headquarters
- Become an expert in Qlayers' robotic coating technology through practical and technical training
- Prepare and coordinate international projects
- Support project planning, logistics, and spare parts management
- Provide remote technical support to colleagues and customers worldwide.
On-site
- Commission and operate our robotic coating systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and perform maintenance when required
- Train customers and partners on the safe and effective use of our equipment
- Build lasting customer relationships while representing Qlayers on-site
- Document project outcomes and provide feedback to continuously improve our solutions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- MBO or HBO level of working and thinking
- A background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
- 2-3 years of relevant technical experience
- Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
- A practical, proactive, and customer-oriented approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 30–50% of the time.

- Gross monthly salary €3200 – €4000. The exact amount depends on the seniority of the candidate.
