De Functie
De Manager, Logistics speelt een cruciale rol in het leiden en coördineren van projecten die gericht zijn op het opzetten en optimaliseren van onze supply chain-processen. Deze rol zorgt voor een efficiënte verplaatsing van producten, onderhoudt sterke relaties met leveranciers en klanten en waarborgt naleving van Nederlandse regelgeving. De Manager is verantwoordelijk voor het documenteren van procesflows, het onderhouden en up-to-date houden van standaard werkinstructies (SOP’s), het uitvoeren van strategische initiatieven en het volgen van key performance indicators (KPI’s) om continue verbetering te stimuleren.

Leidt en coördineert projecten om supply chain-processen op te zetten en te optimaliseren voor efficiënte productbeweging.

Stuurt inkomende en uitgaande zendingen aan en borgt tijdige en accurate levering, met minimale kosten.

Onderhoudt sterke relaties met leveranciers en klanten om samenwerking te bevorderen en issues op te lossen.

Zorgt voor compliance met de Nederlandse overheid en andere regulatoire instanties.

Analyseert logistieke data om verbeterkansen te identificeren en efficiency-oplossingen te implementeren.

Leidt logistieke procesverbeteringsinitiatieven om workflows te stroomlijnen, efficiency te optimaliseren en klanttevredenheid te verbeteren.

Werkt cross-functioneel samen met teams zoals Inventory, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Compliance, Business Solutions en Finance om logistieke strategieën af te stemmen op bedrijfsdoelen.

Stimuleert continuous improvement door data-analyse, het identificeren van bottlenecks en het implementeren van verbeteringen in productiviteit en accuracy.

Communiceert projectupdates, processen, escalaties en outcomes aan senior management en stakeholders, met nadruk op successen en groeikansen.
Persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PPE) kunnen vereist zijn wanneer werkzaamheden mogelijke risico’s voor gezondheid of veiligheid met zich meebrengen. Het bedrijf biedt de benodigde PPE en training. Medewerkers moeten defecte of verloren PPE direct aan supervisors melden.
Deze functie wordt uitgevoerd in zowel een professionele kantooromgeving als een logistieke omgeving en maakt routinematig gebruik van standaard kantoorapparatuur zoals computers, telefoons, kopieerapparaten en archiverings-/filingsystemen.

The Opportunity
The Manager, Logistics plays a critical role in leading and coordinating projects focused on establishing and optimizing our supply chain processes. This role ensures efficient movement of products, maintains strong vendor and customer relationships, and ensures compliance with Dutch regulations. The Manager is responsible for documenting process flows, maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), executing strategic initiatives, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Transportation Management (60%)

Lead and coordinate projects to establish and optimize supply chain processes for efficient product movement.

Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely, accurate delivery while minimizing costs.

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to foster collaboration and resolve issues.

Ensure compliance with Dutch government and other regulatory institutions.

Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities and implement efficiency solutions.
Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Initiatives (40%)

Lead logistics process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, optimize efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Compliance, Business Solutions, and Finance teams to align logistics strategies with company goals.

Drive continuous improvement by analyzing data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing productivity and accuracy enhancements.

Communicate project updates, processes, escalations, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Regular attendance in accordance with company standards is essential for success in this role.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when duties involve potential health or safety risks. The Company provides required PPE and training. Employees must report defective or lost PPE to supervisors promptly.
This position operates in both a professional office and logistics environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems.

Minimum of 5 years proven experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on process optimization and inventory management.
