This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Within the Cocoa Zaandam site (Aurora & Jonker), the Process Improvement Engineer will plan, support, and where applicable, execute engineering deliverables across one or more core technology or engineering areas. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing expert advice on issues within the engineering field.
- Plan, design and estimate time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components.

Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.

Design and improve manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.

Build, maintain, and prioritize a pipeline of continuous improvement projects to support operational excellence and business objectives.

Drive delivery of TMO targets through effective identification, execution, and tracking of improvement initiatives.

Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.

Experience with Office, SEEQ, PI, and RTDuet.

Strong analytical mindset and interest in data-driven improvement projects.

Knowledge of Lean methodology and continuous improvement tools.

Experience in manufacturing process optimization and performance improvement is preferred.
