Tula is a small and intimate Mezcal and cocktail bar very well known in Amsterdam Noord built around one obsession:
Mexican spirits done right. Tequila, mezcal, sotol, raicilla, the real stuff, served with context and care.
We're looking for a bartender who genuinely loves this world and knows how to bring guests into it.
What the role is
This isn't a volume bar. Every guest who sits down should leave knowing something they didn't when they arrived, about an agave region, a production method, a producer, etc
You're as much educator and host as you are bartender. The setting is intimate and the standard is high.
You'll be responsible for:
- Running the bar with the team with confidence and precision during service
- Guiding guests through the spirits, cocktails, neat pours, and everything in between
- Creating a warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely entertaining experience for every table
- Keeping up with the world of Mexican spirits and contributing to the programme over time
What we're looking for
- Solid knowledge of Mexican spirits, agave categories, production, key producers
- Experience in high-end bar or hospitality environments
- A natural host: warm, sharp, good at reading a room
- Someone who takes the craft seriously
- Based in or able to work in Amsterdam Noord
