The EMEA Service Parts Planning intern supports the EMEA Channel Planning team in our HQ in Amsterdam. In this role you will support the critical work of planning and distribution of spare parts across our Service Center network. You will be the main point of contact for a set of locations during this winter season with a strong focus on one of our most complex and expensive commodities: winter tires. You will also play a central role in further enhancing planning algorithms by contributing to our codebase.
What You'll Do-
Owning the end-to-end planning and distribution of Winter Tires across a set of Service & Delivery locations
- Remain in regular contact with stakeholders across multiple channels and respond to local needs (short term trends, Service campaigns, seasonality, escalations)
- Regular reviews of Min-Max points, consumption, delivery schedules, etc.

Identification of over-/underestimated volumes, missing parts or inefficiencies
- Develop and optimize planning our algorithm ("Autostock") in Python, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of core logic
- Write clean, well-documented Python code to extend and maintain existing planning algorithm modules
- Other tasks as required
What You'll Bring-
Preferable studying in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field
- Strong communication skills: as you will be the point of contact for multiple local teams
- Strategic thinking and planning: ability to critically analyse data using Excel and SQL, draw conclusions and make planning recommendations
- Coding: intermediate Python is a pre-requisite to contribute to the outlined algorithm improvement tasks
- Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented
- Ability to handle change daily in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluency in English is a pre-requisite
