As we expand our footprint in Europe, we are excited to launch a new Ship Management division based in Rotterdam, and we're currently seeking a Shipping Agent to be a part of this dynamic new chapter.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate with vessels, terminals, suppliers, and service providers regarding schedules
- Handle port formalities, tug/pilot arrangements, and crew matters
- Submit documents to the Port Authority and statutory bodies
- Oversee supply of ship spares, services, and provisions
- Manage vessel ETA updates and cargo documentation
- Assist with crew changes and travel documentation
- Prepare port disbursement accounts and liaise with shipowners
- Attend vessels in port as needed
- Report to the supervisor on operations and additional assigned tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive individuals
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience in operations or agency roles is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Dutch is desirable and will be considered favourably
- Must hold a valid Netherlands driving licence
- Must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
