CBA Europe N.V. is focused exclusively on supporting IB&M and its wholesale clients. CBA Europe N.V. acts as the European gateway to Australia and New Zealand for investment and trade. To achieve this, IB&M draws on its strong connections within, and deep understanding of, the Australian corporate landscape.
CBA Europe N.V. outsources most of its systems and therefore requires dedicated support in managing the performance of internal service providers and the risks associated with outsourcing, in line with its outsourcing framework.
To support the quality assurance process, maintain the outsourcing framework and manage supplier relationships, we are currently recruiting an Outsourcing Officer / Project Officer.
This is a role in which approximately three days per week will be dedicated to outsourcing-related responsibilities. The remaining two days per week will be focused on supporting projects within CBA Europe N.V., such as Power BI initiatives and other internal improvement projects.
Do work that matters:
The Outsourcing Officer / Project Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the outsourcing framework as documented in the Outsourcing Policy and ensure outsourced activities remain aligned with policy and strategy.
The following tasks will be part of the job:
- Support the development of outsourcing agreements, SLAs and governance documentation, and assist the Management Board in monitoring the effectiveness and regulatory compliance of the outsourcing framework
- Facilitating quality assurance reviews of service provider performance;
- Acting as the single point of contact for De Nederlandsche Bank on outsourcing-related feedback or questions;
- Providing appropriate input for outsourcing risk assessments and monitoring progress in coordination with stakeholders and workstream leads, including risks, issues and escalations;
- Establishing and maintaining an Outsourcing Register that includes all required SLAs and is set up in accordance with the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing;
- Managing CBA Europe N.V. suppliers, including supplier onboarding, supplier risk assessments, contract negotiation and ongoing performance monitoring;
- Supporting projects within CBA Europe N.V., including internal improvement, reporting, data and Power BI-related initiatives and working with internal stakeholders to help define project requirements, coordinate delivery and support successful implementation.
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- At minimum a relevant bachelor’s degree;
- Experience and/or a well -motivated interest in outsourcing and/or supplier management;
- Experience participating in projects;
- Affinity with reporting, data, process improvement or tools such as Power BI;
- The ability to work independently in a start-up environment;
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on and can-do mindset and strong communication skills;
- The ability to build professional relationships with internal and external international stakeholders.
Dutch language skills are not required for this role; however, candidates must be based in the Netherlands and have the right to work in the Netherlands.
