The job
As an Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Anteryon, you play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating optical and mechanical systems for advanced products and applications. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of optics and precision mechanical engineering, ensuring robustness and manufacturability of optical assemblies
You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with production teams, mechanical engineers, and quality specialists to continuously improve and innovate our manufacturing capabilities.
Tasks & Responsibilities

Design and develop opto-mechanical systems, including lenses, mirrors, mounts, housings, and alignment mechanisms

Perform tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, and structural simulations In close cooperation with an optical engineer to ensure optical systems meet requirements under operational conditions

Ensure designs meet cost, manufacturability, and reliability requirements

Collaborate with optical engineers, electrical engineers, and product teams to develop integrated solutions

Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation for production and assembly

Support prototype development, testing, and validation of optical systems

Investigate and resolve issues related to alignment, vibration, thermal effects, and mechanical stress
We are looking for
-
A university degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)

3 to 8 years of experience in a high-tech or precision manufacturing environment

Experience with CAD modeling (preferably Inventor) and FEA tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a hands-on approach

Solid understanding of optical components, alignment principles, and tolerancing

Knowledge of materials, thermal behavior, and vibration effects on optical systems

Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English (Dutch is a strong plus)

Understanding of manufacturing processes of metal and glass componentns is an advantage
