Assistant Store Manager
To strengthen our flagship store team in Amsterdam, we're currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager with proven experience in retail and team leadership. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager, helping to build and lead a strong team, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
What we’re looking for
You have a solid background in retail, with hands-on leadership experience.
You're flexibly available, including weekends and peak periods — retail doesn't follow a 9-to-5.
You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure.
You speak English fluently — Dutch is a strong plus.
You’re someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves.

As KOMONO also offers prescription eyewear, completing a company-paid optical training during working hours is mandatory. Since this course is taught in Dutch, reading and understanding Dutch is a strict requirement for this role. Applying without meeting this requirement will not be considered.
Your responsibilities
Act as the right hand of the Store Manager and take ownership when needed.
Help build a motivated, sales-driven team.
Ensure the store meets and exceeds sales goals and customer expectations.
