Job summary
The cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the facility. This role ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards and supports the overall wellbeing and comfort of employees, visitors, and customers. The cleaner reports to the Senior cleaner.
Key responsibilities
o Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming across assigned areas.
o Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, office spaces, and common areas.
o Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper waste disposal.
o Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors as required.
o Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
o Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Senior cleaner.
o Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
o Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
o Support deep-cleaning tasks when scheduled (e.g., periodic floor care, disinfection, or high-dusting).
o Maintain confidentiality while working in sensitive or private areas.
Qualifications & skills
o Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
o Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
o Attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness.
o Basic understanding of cleaning products and safe usage.
o Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift light equipment, and stand for extended periods.
o Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
