Founded in 2018, STUDIO AR was born from a vision to create feminine, effortlessly cool, and endlessly wearable pieces. As a sister brand to ARMA, our roots run deep - drawing on decades of craftsmanship and expertise in leather since 1985.
For our Design team we are looking for a motivated and structured
Design & Merchandise Intern
to support the development of our leather collections, starting from September 2026 (5–6 months).
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Design & Merchandise Intern at ARMA, you will work closely with our design and production team, supporting the daily processes behind our two annual collections for both ARMA and STUDIO AR. You are the person who keeps things structured and well-documented. At the same time, you have a considered eye for design and an awareness of what is happening on the international runways.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Translating designs into technical drawings and product info sheets.
Analyzing sales results from previous collections and translating these into clear, structured overviews
Supporting the development of colors and materials
Supporting collection merchandising and product assortment planning
Taking structured notes during meetings
Following international runway collections and relevant market developments
Inspecting and reviewing samples
Archiving samples and maintaining the showroom
REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree design or al related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Interest in working with leather and are eager to learn more about the craft behind it.
Strong communication and administrative skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
You are structured, creative, and take ownership.
Affinity with luxury and contemporary design, and a natural curiosity for the wider landscape of ready-to-wear.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Available full-time (40 hours per week)
