Freelance Walking Tour Guide – Amsterdam (English Speaking)

Roam World Tours is a local Amsterdam tour company offering high-quality walking tours focused on the city’s fascinating history, culture, architecture, and hidden stories.
We are looking for enthusiastic freelance guides to join our small team.
What you will do:
- Lead small-group walking tours through Amsterdam
- Share historical and cultural stories in an engaging way
- Create a fun and welcoming experience for international visitors
- Interact with guests and answer questions
- Represent our company with professionalism and enthusiasm
What we are looking for:
- Excellent spoken English
- Passion for Amsterdam, history, and storytelling
- Confident speaking in front of groups
- Friendly, reliable, and independent personality
- Living in or near Amsterdam
- Valid Amsterdam city centre guiding exemption (ontheffing stadsdeel Centrum) or willingness to obtain it before leading tours
- Availability mainly during evenings and/or weekends
Previous guiding experience is a plus but not required. We are mainly looking for the right personality, communication skills, and passion for the city.
