Finance Director (Home Division)

As Finance Director (Home Division), you play a key strategic role in driving financial performance and value creation across our organization. You act as a trusted business partner to the Home Division leadership team and ensure that financial insights directly support commercial and operational decision-making.
In this international role, you work closely with multiple regions, customers and product categories, ensuring alignment between financial targets and strategic priorities. You will be instrumental in shaping growth, improving profitability, and driving performance across the Home Division.
You report to the Global Head of the Home Division, collaborate with local finance teams and the Finance Shared Service Center, and are part of the European Finance Leadership Team.
This role is based in Rijen (the Netherlands).

Job requirements:

Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar
-
10+ years of experience in senior finance roles (e.g., Senior Business Controller) or 5+ years as Finance Director

Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and performance management
-
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods environments is preferred
-
Strong understanding of commercial and operational drivers (pricing, margins, supply chain)

Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills

Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Power BI and Excel
-
Fluent in English
-
Willingness to travel (20–30%)

Ability to work at our office in Rijen 3-4 days a week

Available full-time (40 hours per week)
Representative Activities:
What will you do?
In the role of Finance Director, you are responsible for, among others:

Acting as a trusted financial business partner to Home Division leadership

Driving financial performance by translating strategy into KPIs (Net Sales, Gross Margin, EBITDA)

Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across markets

Monitoring financial performance and identifying risks and opportunities
-
Developing scenario analyses and financial models for decision-making
-
Supporting commercial decision-making (pricing, investments, margin optimization)

Analyzing profitability across customers, channels, and product categories
-
Driving portfolio optimization and improving margin development
-
Building and evaluating business cases for investments, innovation, and strategic initiatives

Delivering high-quality management reporting and performance insights
-
Preparing and contributing to business reviews with actionable recommendations

Partnering with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to improve profitability and working capital

Driving financial transparency, governance, and KPI discipline across the Home Division
Additionally, you contribute to strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and growth plans, ensuring measurable value creation and a strong performance mindset across the organization.
