We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional to join our team as a Fulfillment Center Quality Engineer, for one of our (Technical) client, overseeing all quality-related activities. You will work for us Geodis, but the role is fully dedicated to our client.
In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking all quality tasks associated with Client CPL products fulfilled in Rotterdam. They will initiate Corrective and Preventive Action Requests (CPARs), taking ownership to investigate and resolve any fulfillment center quality issues and concerns. The engineer will reinforce outgoing quality expectations with FFC suppliers, aiming to minimize quality-related disruptions. They will identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in order fulfillment. Acting as the main point of contact for fulfillment quality matters, you will support all CPL employees for our client.
You will manage all aspects of supplier quality, including auditing documentation, products, processes, test results, and monitoring corrective action implementation.
You will also support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process at the Rotterdam fulfillment center by conducting Pre-Production Qualification of new products.
In addition, you will lead regular regional Fulfillment Center Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, CPARs review meetings, and represent Fulfillment Quality at the Change Management Board (CMB). You will take on the role of customer complaint investigation leader for assigned cases and assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities.
This position requires a high level of diligence, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility

Collaborate closely with the product Manufacturing Quality Managers and Engineers to continually enhance and sustain Quality & Customer Satisfaction (QCS).

Conduct onsite QA inspections as needed to ensure standards are met.

Provide support for quality issue investigations within the fulfillment center, assisting in identifying and resolving concerns.

Organize and lead weekly meetings with our client for CPL Operations teams, focusing on Material Review Board (MRB) topics, CPARs, and ongoing continuous improvement project activities.

Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to overall fulfillment center quality objectives.
Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience & Education
Education

A minimum of a four-year college degree in a related field is desirable.
Experience

4+ years of experience in supporting production and/or order fulfillment processes.

Exposure to problem-solving operational process flows from concept to delivery in a hardware, software, or cloud environment.

Experience working with complex technical solutions in the information security field is a plus.

Exposure to Incident Management and Problem Management is a plus.

Experience in implementing lean and six sigma methodologies in the workplace.
