The energy transition needs you as Functional IGA Specialist
As a Functional IGA Specialist, you will help improve and future-proof Alliander’s authorisation model. You analyse role structures, identify risks and inconsistencies, and translate complex IAM insights into practical improvements that role owners can understand and apply. In this way, you help ensure that employees always have the right access rights: not too many, not too few.
Implementing improvements in roles, assignments, group structures and underlying logic, while monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
Collaborating closely with the IAM process specialist, authorisation management colleagues, architects, solution leads and the service desk to make sure role changes are implemented successfully across the full chain.

You will be working at our Alliander business unit.
The RAM team is a close‑knit, multidisciplinary team consisting of eight experienced professionals, a Product Owner, and a Scrum Master. Together, we work in an agile environment on improving and future‑proofing our services. Within the team, there is plenty of room for collaboration, in‑depth expertise, and individual initiative. We combine craftsmanship with an open and collegial atmosphere, where knowledge sharing and supporting one another are key.
We work in a hybrid way and come together on fixed collaboration days: Monday in Arnhem at the Park Tower, right next to Central Station, and Thursday in Amsterdam at Basisweg 20. From time to time, we also work together from Haarlem (Oudeweg).

Proven experience (5+ years) with different authorisation models, such as RBAC and ABAC, as well as role management, IAM principles and information security.
Strong analytical skills: you are able to recognise patterns, connections and risks in complex role structures, and you have a sharp eye for the context in which those patterns have developed and whether they should continue to exist.
Attractive salary and benefits package
Based on a 40-hour working week, you will receive:
annually an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. If you do not work full time, you are not entitled to ADV. You can have this budget paid out as extra salary or use it to purchase extra days off, for example. You choose the option that is right for you;
a sustainable employability (SE) budget of €700 per year. Choose a payment for a sport or hobby, to make your home more sustainable or to reduce your student loan debt with DUO, for example. You decide how your budget is spent;
