Primary responsibilities
You will, as a Medior/Senior Analog Hardware Engineer be responsible for developing and sustaining our state-of-the-art electric power testing DAQ solutions.
Your development activities
Develop and maintain analog designs for different data acquisition systems.
Research new analog designs with the help of simulation (e.g. LTSpice).
Schematics design and layout of PCBs for analog systems.
Set and verify specifications for data acquisition products.
Define tests for production to (automatically) validate analog hardware.
Keep in contact with (major) manufacturers to monitor trends in analog product development.
Assist in the CE certification process and support during external certification, both for EMC as well as low voltage safety.
Professional qualifications
Min 5 – 10 years’ experience in analog design.
Excellent understanding of analog components and design principles, for example circuits including Op-Amps, analog filters, A/D converters, etc.
A good knowledge of PCB design’s influence on noise, crosstalk etc. Optimum component placement and routing.
Grounding and EMC design
Knowledge of design-to-cost
Experience in circuit design using Altium Designer
Usage of Spice-simulation during the design phase
Good communication skills with other involved parties such as: ECAD, firmware, test department, QA, production, etc.
Personal skills
Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good interpersonal skills
Team player, but also able to solve problems individually.
Hands on, able to or used to work from prototype to production phase.
Accurate, practical and result driven personality.
Experience in working in international located development team is a plus.
