Logistics Coordinator

We are a fast-growing international logistics company specializing in freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and e-commerce logistics across Europe. To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Rotterdam.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation, warehousing, and shipment activities.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, and customers.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, and customs-related documents.
- Resolve operational issues and provide logistics solutions.
- Update internal systems and maintain accurate shipment records.
- Support the operations team with administrative and customer service tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum MBO/HBO level education, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with customs clearance processes or logistics management systems.
- Chinese language skills (Mandarin) are a strong plus.
- Experience in e-commerce logistics, Amazon FBA, or international freight forwarding is a plus.
