About the function
As a logistics employee production at this company in IJmuiden, you ensure that all orders are perfectly ready for shipment on time. You pick the orders yourself, check the quantities, arrange the transport, and keep a close eye on the inventory. You have contact with suppliers, assist in the production process where needed, and keep the warehouse neat and organized. It's important to work precisely; mistakes can mean that someone has to make a special trip to deliver a missing product, and you certainly want to avoid that. You work with crates and containers, so physical work doesn't scare you. Besides the logistical work, you occasionally help in production and regularly consult with colleagues from other departments to keep things running smoothly.
