I’m currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer with solid knowledge of Business Intelligence and extensive experience with one or more Cloud Data solutions, such as Azure or AWS.
You will be supporting an array of clients in migrating their existing environment to the cloud across several industries including but not limited to the Government and Banking.
Responsibilities:
- Develop future-proof data solutions for the customer
- Unlocking, transforming, and integrating data structures so that others can use them effectively
- Advising users and stakeholders on the design and setting up of Cloud Data Platforms in the Microsoft Azure or AWS environment
- Together with your Scrum/DevOps team, transform outdated BI systems into an innovative Cloud Data Platform
- Maintaining and supporting the existing data environment, setting up new environments
- Coaching and guiding less experienced colleagues and teammates internally and with clients as a specialist
Required skills:
- A completed HBO as a minimum
- Good command of the Dutch language
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in data engineering
- At least 5 years of knowledge of and experience with SQL, ETL, DWH and/or Python
- Extensive experience with one or more Cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Knowledge and experience with agile working and DevOps
- Broad growth ambitions
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
Contract: Permanent, 36 hrs minimum
Working setup: Hybrid
Salary: €5,000-€6,500
Language: Dutch and English
