As Inside Sales Representative – Australia & New Zealand, you are part of the Rest of World team and responsible for managing, retaining and further developing your own client and country portfolio within our international markets. The focus of this role is on Australia and New Zealand, two important and established markets within Bertus, complemented by other countries within the Rest of World region.
You serve clients in Australia and New Zealand, combining relationship management with active market development and new business. You work independently within your own regions while being part of an international sales team. This role comes with significant responsibility and room to identify commercial opportunities, onboard new clients and grow existing business.
What will you do?
As Inside Sales Representative you are responsible for a fixed set of countries and regions, with clear commercial targets and revenue accountability.
Your responsibilities include:

Managing, retaining and further developing your own client and country portfolio

Taking commercial responsibility for Australia and New Zealand and actively driving revenue growth within these strategic markets

Working with concrete revenue and growth targets per country or region and actively steering towards results

Following up on inbound leads (via website or other channels) and converting them into new clients and revenue

Initiating new business through market scans, prospecting and outbound activities within your regions

Developing Australia, New Zealand and other assigned markets commercially, based on knowledge of the local landscape including indie labels, retail chains, online players and competition

Maintaining daily contact with clients in English on orders, availability, pricing, deliveries and commercial opportunities

Analysing revenue developments, client behaviour and other commercial data and translating these insights into concrete actions

Working independently within your own area of responsibility while aligning structurally with the Sales Team Lead and colleagues within the international sales team

Collaborating closely with colleagues from purchasing, marketing, customer care, logistics and finance

Actively contributing to a professional, structured and results-driven way of working within the sales team
Who are you?

You have experience in a commercial inside sales or comparable B2B role

You speak and write fluent Dutch and English
