Programme Management Officer
Entain NCE is building out a Business Performance function to drive a portfolio of strategic programmes across our 11 markets, spanning market migrations, regulatory change, and commercial performance.
These programmes are led by our Business Performance team, and we're looking for a Programme Management Officer to be the engine that keeps them on track.
This is a the programme leadership sits with the programme leads, and your job is to make their programmes run smoothly.
You'll own the cadence, tracking, reporting and governance discipline that turn a set of ambitious programmes into coordinated, well-run delivery. You'll work across every function; product, technology, compliance, commercial and finance, and across all our markets, acting on behalf of the Business Performance function to keep actions moving and progress visible.
In this role, programmes run to a reliable rhythm, nothing important falls through the cracks, and everyone, from workstream owners to the SLT, has a clear, current view of where each programme stands and what needs deciding. You'll be the person who makes the whole portfolio feel in control.
It's a role with real breadth and visibility, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. As our programme portfolio grows, there's scope to shape and grow the PMO capability over time.
Your Impact;
· Run the operational rhythm of the programmes: schedule and coordinate steering committees, programme meetings and stage-gate reviews, and make sure the right people are in the room with the right materials.
· Own the actions log across programmes; capturing decisions and actions, tracking them to completion, and following up with owners (including senior stakeholders) to keep things moving.
· Maintain the RAID discipline; risks, actions, issues and dependencies, and keep it current and visible.
· Manage cross-programme and cross-market dependencies, flagging clashes and bottlenecks early before they become blockers.
· Produce clear, consistent status reporting to a standard format; giving programme leads, the sponsor and the SLT a reliable read on progress, risks and decisions needed.
· Keep programme documentation and charters up to date as living documents, and maintain the master view of the programme portfolio.
· Support programme leads in preparing for reviews, escalations and re-baselining, so decisions can be made quickly and with good information.
· Champion consistent ways of working across programmes, helping embed the programme management framework in practice.
Who are you?
· Solid experience in a PMO, programme coordination or programme support role, ideally supporting more than one programme at a time.
· Strong governance and cadence discipline: setting up and running steering committees, stage-gates and structured reporting, and maintaining RAID/actions logs.
· Excellent coordination and follow-through; comfortable holding people to commitments, including stakeholders more senior than yourself, and doing it in a way that builds trust rather than friction.
· Confident stakeholder management across functions, with the communication skills to keep senior people informed and engaged.
· Highly organised, proactive and calm under pressure, with genuine attention to detail.
· Fluency with project/portfolio and reporting tools (e.g. Jira, Asana) and strong reporting/presentation skills.
· Fluent English, written and spoken.
· Experience in a multi-market, multi-entity or international organisation, coordinating across markets and time zones.
· Experience in a regulated industry; online gambling experience is a strong plus.
· A recognised delivery certification (PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, or Agile/Scrum); valued, but real delivery experience matters more.
· Experience helping to build or scale a PMO function.
