We are seeking a talented and driven Process Engineer Production Planning to join our team. In this role, you act as a key functional specialist for production planning software such as APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) and SAP (ERP). You bridge the gap between business and system logic by translating planning requirements into smarter, robust system solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with 4–7 years of experience who have a solid foundation in production planning and want to further deepen their impact in process and system design.
You will design, transform, and scale the production planning process in a complex, high‑tech manufacturing environment, where system choices directly impact planning performance. The roadmap includes SAP ERP upgrade, APS improvements, S&OP improvements, manufacturing configuration changes, Lean integration, and the setup of a new production site.
Key responsibilities:
Optimize production planning processes by shaping and improving advanced planning tools
Improve planner productivity, enhancing planning reliability, and ensure seamless integration in supply chain processes and data-driven planning systems
Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within production planning, then translate these ideas into actionable process optimizations
Translate planning complexity into clear, manageable processes, including multi‑level BOMs, complex routings, capacity constraints, and interdependent planning rules
Collaborate with Production, Planning teams and IT specialists, to ensure business requirements are accurately integrated into system logic (e.g. scheduling rules, capacity constraints, pull triggers).
