About the Role
We’re looking for a Lead of Production / Pastry Chef to join our team at Miuz Overtoom.
Are you an early bird with a passion for pastry, artisanal gelato and leading people? In this role, you’ll manage our production team while working hands-on to create exceptional products using premium seasonal ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate the production team while fostering a positive working environment.
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency and HACCP compliance.
- Plan and organize weekly production schedules, mise-en-place and ordering requirements.
- Monitor inventory, recipe databases, documentation and food safety procedures.
- Optimize existing recipes and develop new products with a focus on seasonality and premium ingredients.
- Work hands-on in production and lead by example.
- Collaborate closely with retail teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of Miuz’s production operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a leadership role as a Pastry Chef or similar position; gelato experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques; a fine dining background is highly valued.
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A creative mindset combined with a hands-on approach.
- Passion for premium ingredients, craftsmanship and innovation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Pay: From €3.100,00 per month
