As the company enters a significant corporate transition and strategic evolution, you will play a pivotal role in bringing employees together behind a new identity, purpose and future. Working directly with senior leadership, HR and global stakeholders, including teams across the United States. You will lead the internal communications workstream that supports this transformation.
Your challenge
As the Senior External Communications Manager, you will lead the external communications workstream during a major corporate transition. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company's transformation is communicated to external audiences in a clear, consistent, and strategic way that reflects JDE's vision and objectives. You will help shape the external narrative around the transition, safeguard the company's reputation, and provide strategic counsel on communications and public affairs throughout this pivotal period.
What you'll be doing

Lead the internal communications strategy and execution for a major corporate transition.

Build the internal communications framework, including channels, governance and communication cadence.

Develop and deliver launch campaigns, leadership communications, town halls, manager toolkits, FAQs and intranet content.

Bring the company's new identity, values and purpose to life through engaging employee campaigns.

Support organisational change communications and employee engagement initiatives.

Partner closely with senior leadership, HR and regional teams to coordinate messaging and timelines.

Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, while coordinating external partners where appropriate.

Work closely with the Global Corporate Affairs Director and Internal Communications Manager.
Requirements

Extensive experience in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement and/or Change Communications.

Proven track record within international organisations, working with senior executives and global stakeholders.

Comfortable operating independently in confidential, high-pressure transformation environments.

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

Experience launching brands, company values or corporate purpose internally is highly desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Able to collaborate seamlessly with teams in the United States and across multiple international locations.

Willing to combine strategic advisory work with operational delivery.
