For one of our clients in the financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst.
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong banking expertise (mandatory) and Trade Finance / working capital experience (preferred). You will support a large-scale Working Capital / Trade Finance transformation journey, acting as the bridge between Business, Architecture, and IT. The role focuses on translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions and enabling delivery across squads in a global environment. This position requires onsite presence and intensive stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a link between business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams. Gather, analyse, and translate requirements into functional designs, features, and user stories. Define end-to-end functional views (as-is, to-be, and transition states). Manage dependencies across squads. Drive epic breakdown, backlog refinement, prioritisation, and Definition of Done in an Agile/DevOps setup. Ensure alignment across global stakeholders and teams. Validate solutions to ensure functional quality and business fit. Apply strong banking domain knowledge and understanding of core banking processes. Work within complex IT landscapes, focusing on requirement elicitation and functional design. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the transformation initiatives, ensuring scalable, future-ready solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVE:
strong banking domain expertise (mandatory). Experience in complex IT environments. Proven track record in requirement elicitation, functional design, and stakeholder management. Ability to operate in Agile / DevOps environments. Strong communication and influencing skills. Structured, analytical mindset with decision-making capability.
Nice to Have
Experience in Working Capital Solutions / Trade Finance, such as Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Factoring, Letters of Credit, and Guarantees. Exposure to Transaction Banking or Trade platforms. Experience in large-scale transformation programs.
