Job Purpose

The Workshop Technician plays an important role in supporting TechnipFMC and its customers by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the workshop. This work is carried out with a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork, in line with TechnipFMC’s quality standards, industry and customer requirements.
In this role, you work closely with colleagues across the workshop and report to the Workshop Manager, who provides day‑to‑day guidance and acts as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

De Workshop Technician speelt een belangrijke rol in het ondersteunen van TechnipFMC en haar klanten door het inspecteren, repareren en onderhouden van apparatuur in de werkplaats. Dit werk wordt uitgevoerd met een sterke focus op kwaliteit, veiligheid en samenwerking, in lijn met de kwaliteitsnormen van TechnipFMC en de eisen van de industrie en klanten.
In deze rol werk je nauw samen met collega’s in de werkplaats en rapporteer je aan de Workshop Manager, die dagelijkse begeleiding biedt en fungeert als het belangrijkste aanspreekpunt voor interne en externe stakeholders.
Job Description
Assemble, disassemble, inspect, test, and maintain TechnipFMC and customer equipment in line with specifications and quality standards.
Perform pressure testing, refurbishment, and maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable equipment performance.
Complete required technical and quality documentation, including test and inspection reports.
Safely operate tools, equipment, and material‑handling devices to support workshop and logistics activities.
Support cost tracking and work‑order execution by accurately recording required data in company systems.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Proactively report any operational, quality, or safety issues to the Workshop Manager and log them in the appropriate systems.

Uitvoeren van druktesten, revisie- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden om veilige en betrouwbare prestaties van apparatuur te waarborgen
Opstellen van vereiste technische en kwaliteitsdocumentatie, waaronder test- en inspectierapporten
Veilig bedienen van gereedschappen, apparatuur en hijsmiddelen ter ondersteuning van werkplaats- en logistieke activiteiten
Ondersteunen van kostentracking en werkorderuitvoering door nauwkeurige registratie in bedrijfssystemen
Zorgdragen voor een veilige, schone en georganiseerde werkomgeving volgens gezondheids-, veiligheids- en milieubeleid
Proactief melden van operationele, kwaliteits- of veiligheidsproblemen aan de Workshop Manager en deze registreren in de juiste systemen
You are meant for this job if:
You have a (V)MBO/TL qualification in Engineering or a related field
You have experience in a technical or workshop environment (energy industry experience is a plus)
You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
You are skilled in working with hand tools and power tools
You have basic experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
In addition, you:
Are flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic work environment
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work well in a team while also being able to operate independently
Perform well under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
Are able to prioritize tasks in coordination with the Workshop Manager
Are open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
Je bent geschikt voor deze functie als je:
Beschikt over een (V)MBO/TL-opleiding in techniek of een gerelateerd vakgebied
Ervaring hebt in een technische of werkplaatsomgeving (ervaring in de energiesector is een pré)
De Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed beheerst, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
Vaardig bent in het werken met handgereedschap en elektrisch gereedschap
Basiservaring hebt met Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Daarnaast:
Ben je flexibel en kun je je aanpassen aan een dynamische werkomgeving
Beschik je over sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden
Werk je goed in teamverband, maar kun je ook zelfstandig functioneren

Kun je prioriteiten stellen in afstemming met de Workshop Manager
