We are seeking a results oriented and commercially driven Senior eCommerce Trading Manager supporting the Direct to Consumer organization throughout the EMEA area, headquartered in Amsterdam. Reporting into the Head of eCommerce, this position will direct the digital commercial strategy for the region, with aim of improving channel revenue whilst safeguarding profitability.

Lead the EMEA eCommerce commercial strategy, driving end to end business performance, from sales forecasting to trading execution, ensuring sustained growth and operational excellence.
Collaborate cross functionally to align trading strategy with brand priorities, delivering a digital retail experience that’s both consumer-centric and commercially impactful.
Partner with Omni Marketing to provide trading vision to email, search and social campaigns, driving high-impact traffic acquisition strategies for accelerated ecommerce growth.
Partner with DTC Merchandising to shape product assortment, buying and promotion strategies that balance growth, consumer relevance, and margin health, tailoring offering to regional and channel specific needs.
Share accountability with Consumer Experience and Customer Care teams to ensure trading strategies align with service excellence, driving a seamless end-to-end customer journey that maximizes satisfaction, loyalty, and commercial performance.
Own financial and ecommerce equation forecasting across the territory. Use historical data and current performance trends to predict important metric outcomes. Optimize profitability and align trading strategies with business objectives and expected performance.
Monitor and manage key KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, revenue & standard margin) across the eCommerce channel, providing regular reporting and working with relevant teams to drive optimisation.
Lead the digital evolution of the Lifestyle category, representing DTC within the EMEA Lifestyle Triad, and coordinating with key stakeholder group to ensure priority alignment whilst ensuring DTC requirements are met in expected upcoming plans.
Leverage website analytics tools and dashboards to assess performance metrics and customer interactions, finding ways to improve online shopping experiences and category engagement together with the CX team.
Oversee trading operations during peak periods, ensuring flawless execution and contingency planning for key promotional moments.
Develop and mentor a high-performing team of six market & category traders, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, commercial excellence and continuous learning.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
10+ years of experience in an Ecommerce or in a fast-trading environment, ideally as a Trading or Digital Merchandising Manager.
5+ years of people management experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Proven experience in forecasting, digital merchandising and category performance reporting and analysis.
Excellent commercial awareness with a strong focus to maximise conversion.
Highly organised, with an ability to coordinate delivery in collaboration with several teams.
Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and highly proficient in Excel.
Business user experience in an Ecommerce platform, SFCC is a plus.
Fluent in English, other European languages are an advantage.
Clear understanding of, and passion for, sneaker culture/fashion/youth culture and sports and a brand guardian.
