We are looking for two Sustainability Interns to join our Global Sustainability team for 6 months, supporting key priorities within either:
- Sustainability Enablement & Social Impact, or
- Water & Circularity
Your new team and workplace
You will join HEINEKEN’s Global Sustainability team, contributing to Brew a Better World - our long-term approach to doing business the right way to ensure we're fit for the future and to support growth and productivity.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of sustainability topics, while contributing to meaningful global initiatives. Responsibilities may include:
Internship #1: Sustainability Enablement & Social Impact
- Support the coordination of our Social Impact goals and initiatives across 60+ countries
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities for our Brew a Better World sustainability strategy
- Assist in creating and updating sustainability strategy assets and materials
- Support the deployment of sustainability capability content
Internship #2: Circularity & Water
During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We’re looking for motivated and curious individuals with a passion for sustainability who can bring some of the following:
- Bachelors or Master level education (e.g. Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, or related fields)
- A strong interest in sustainability, impact, and corporate responsibility
- Ability to work in a structured way and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work with a range of interdisciplinary topics and cross-functionally
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel; digital tools/visualization tools are a plus)
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Team spirit and willingness to collaborate in an international environment

Conditions of HEINEKEN
Our Internship Conditions
During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:
- A full-time internship, starting on September 1, 2026
- The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
- Your home office will be located in Amsterdam
- At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
- You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
- You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
- If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
