HR Operations Business Partner (m/f/d)

What is the job about?
The HR Operations Business Partner supports managers and employees as a trusted point of contact for all HR-related matters and ensures professional, service-oriented HR support in day-to-day operations.
The focus of this role is on providing operational and tactical HR support to the organization, managing HR processes, and building strong relationships with managers and employees. The HR Operations Business Partner ensures the effective implementation of HR activities and contributes to a positive employee experience and a collaborative working environment.
Over time, there is the opportunity to further develop into a more strategically focused HR Business Partner role, taking on increasing responsibility in areas such as organizational development, talent management, and change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational and Tactial HR Support and Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted partner and point of contact for managers and employees on all HR-related topics in day-to-day business.
- Provide support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, organizational changes, and offboarding.
- Advise and support managers on employee-related matters.
- Ensure a solution-oriented and service-driven HR approach.
HR Processes and Operations:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal HR stakeholders and external partners.
- Provide support on employment law-related topics in collaboration with relevant experts.
- Support the preparation and analysis of HR metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Employee Development and Talent Management:
- Support employee development initiatives and talent-related activities.
- Assist with performance management processes.
- Support training, feedback, and development initiatives.
- Contribute to the implementation and further development of People & Culture initiatives.
Collaboration and Change Support:
- Support organizational changes and local HR projects.
- Work closely with managers to foster a positive leadership culture.
- Contribute to HR initiatives and projects that support business needs.
Development Opportunities

To thrive in this role, we believe you have the following qualifications, experience, and personal competencies:
Education:
- University of Applied Sciences (HBO) degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Professional Experience:
- Several years of experience in operational HR work.
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience supporting and advising managers and employees.
Professional Knowledge:
- Good understanding of modern HR processes.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and ideally social security regulations.
- Experience with HR systems and HR analytics is an advantage.
Personal Competencies:
- Strong communication and consulting skills.
- Empathy and a genuine interest in working with people.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
- High level of ownership and accountability.
- Motivation to continuously develop and gradually take on more strategic HR responsibilities.
