As Supply Chain Engineer CES, you are responsible for establishing, controlling and optimizing the logistics processes of complex aircraft projects within the CES, Completion and Engineering Services department. You contribute to large-scale projects in the VVIP and Special Mission Aircraft markets, typically ranging from €10 to €50 million in value.
Working across all phases of the EPIC lifecycle, Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Commissioning and Certification, you ensure that supply chain activities are fully aligned with the approved Scope of Work (SoW), Engineering Bulletins (EB) and the Level 4 work order planning within the ERP system.
You report hierarchically to the Head of Large Projects and functionally to the Project Manager. As part of the Project Management Team, you are responsible for safeguarding supply chain parameters such as availability, planning, cost and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
You contribute to the development and execution of the Project Supply Chain Plan and, where required, support the creation of Project-Specific Procedures (PSP). You ensure that all stakeholders adhere to the agreed supply chain strategy and project logistics framework.
In close collaboration with the Process Engineer and Project Planner, you translate supply chain deliverables from the SoW and EB into the Level 4 work orders within the ERP system, ensuring alignment with allocated budgets and planning boundaries.
You continuously monitor required, promised and actual delivery dates, proactively identifying risks and deviations. You ensure correct ERP demand data is maintained and drive expediting activities when required to safeguard project milestones.
You guide all external logistics activities related to the project scope and ensure integration between internal execution teams and external supply chain partners. Upon project completion, you contribute to structured close-out and continuous improvement through lessons-learned evaluations focused on supply chain performance.
