As a Designer Civil Engineering, you work on shaping underground infrastructure projects across the Netherlands. You translate technical challenges into clear, executable designs and serve as a critical link between engineering, execution, and project teams. You work meticulously, contribute ideas for smart solutions, and maintain oversight in a dynamic environment. What will you do? In this role, you are responsible for developing civil engineering designs for various project phases, from schematic design to implementation design. You combine your technical insight with precise drafting work, ensuring designs are complete, accurate, and practically implementable. Your tasks will include:
- Developing 2D and 3D designs in AutoCAD and Civil3D;
- Providing advice on permits, technical choices, and implementation possibilities;
- Visiting project sites for surveys, consultations, and coordination;
- Creating schedules and monitoring progress and quality;
- Supporting cost estimations and technical justifications in collaboration with the calculation team;
- Coordinating tasks within the engineering team;
- Verifying that all documents and drawings comply with relevant standards and guidelines.
You will work in a close-knit team of engineers and designers and will be a visible point of contact in daily operations.
