As an Accounting Employee, you play a key role in maintaining an accurate and efficient financial administration for our UK and Ireland markets. You ensure invoices, payments, and customer accounts are processed correctly and on time. You work closely with customers and colleagues in the UK and Ireland to ensure financial processes run smoothly.
You are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. You process supplier invoices, reconcile incoming payments, monitor outstanding customer balances, and ensure bank transactions are recorded accurately. You proactively follow up on missing information, payment discrepancies, and overdue balances, working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues. In addition, you prepare payment runs, process expense claims and customer refunds, and support the financial administration through journal entries and account reconciliations. Through your attention to detail and proactive approach, you help ensure a reliable and efficient financial operation.

Our Finance department is responsible for delivering reliable financial administration, financial reporting, analysis, and business insights that support decision-making across the organization. The department consists of approximately 15 colleagues, working together across various finance disciplines. In this role, you will be part of the UK Finance team, which consists of three colleagues.

Completed MBO degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.

Experience in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or financial administration role.

Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working.

A proactive mindset and the confidence to follow up on outstanding actions.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different departments and external stakeholders.

Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is considered a plus.

You are based in the Netherlands, preferably in or near the Rotterdam area.
