- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, villas, and resort facilities.
- Handle corrective maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC repairs.
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests experiencing technical issues.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Housekeeping departments to minimize guest disturbance during repairs.
- Monitor and report on safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations and resort standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments and report major technical issues to supervisors.
- Support resort presentation, landscaping projects, and event setups when required.
- Technical diploma or proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Professional appearance with a guest-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or Papiamentu is considered an advantage.
- Ability to anticipate needs, act proactively, and maintain discretion.
- Calm and professional demeanor that reflects Baoase’s luxury service standards.
