As an international EPC contractor specialized in delivering complex projects for the global energy sector, we are looking for a Mechanical Superintendent to join our team. In this role, under the responsibility of the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and controlling mechanical construction activities from inception to completion, ensuring full compliance with project schedules, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
Site Operations & Coordination: Plan, organize, and manage all day-to-day operational activities on site, directly coordinating Mechanical Supervisors and workforce (both subcontractors and direct hiring);
Technical Execution: Supervise the installation or disassembly of static/rotating equipment, packages, and internals, ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, and project KPIs;
HSE & Quality Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Company and Client HSE policies (including Permit to Work and Stop Work policies), waste management procedures, and QA/QC standards from material receipt to mechanical completion;
Resource & Logistics Management: Define and optimize site resources (personnel, equipment, and tools) and organize logistic structures, including temporary storage and preassembling areas;
Progress Reporting & Planning: Monitor project progress, develop short-term look-ahead schedules with the Construction Manager, and report on manpower, equipment, and potential risks or delays;
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Technical Department to resolve site interferences, support method statements/lifting plans, and collaborate with Project Control for any potential claims or scope variations.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent or Senior Supervisor within large-scale EPC energy or industrial projects;
Strong technical background in the installation of static and rotating equipment, packages, and heavy lifting activities;
Solid leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors and enforce site KPIs;
Deep knowledge of international HSE regulations and QA/QC procedures on construction sites;
Fluent in English (spoken and written);
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing site interferences and variations.
