Tesla has big plans to expand in EMEA and build multiple service centers in different countries. If you would like to be part of the team which makes this happen, then this position is for you.
In EMEA Construction Procurement, we select contractors who build our service centers. We select them through a competitive tender procedure involving a lot of negotiations, while working closely with internal stakeholders like finance, project managers, design managers and many others.
The goal of our team (the one you are going to join) is to make every service center as phenomenal as our products and services are. So, you will help us make every store and service center look amazing and create a unique experience for every customer walking in.
As Intern, you will execute the EMEA Sales and Service Infrastructure Development sourcing strategy. Our team onboards and appoints contractors and other vendors required for the expansion, remodeling and building improvement of Tesla’s Service Center network. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of projects and the organization.
What You'll Do
Together with project buyers you will:

Pre-qualify suppliers/contractors by assessing their financial credibility, insurance policies and past project experience for efficient execution of Tesla’s scope of work

Manage and develop onboarded suppliers by demonstrating strong supplier relationship management

Issue RFx (RFQ, RFB, and RFP) for sourcing assigned commodities/services

Review, analyze and clarify bid packages received from suppliers and service providers

Participate in contract negotiations

Make and present recommendations to award after performing a detailed bid analysis ensuring identical scope inclusion for all bids
- Lead problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives to improve InfraDev construction procurement processes
What You'll Bring-
First experience or strong interest in supply chain/procurement/purchasing roles. Experience in construction (procurement) or experience with General Contractors and construction drawings is a big plus

Currently enrolled in university programs related to Civil Engineering or Construction Management or Procurement/Supply Chain or any other relevant degrees

First experience in the business field related to high level of interactions with third parties’ contractors and vendors

Excellent Excel skills as well as analytical and judgment skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement

Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders with a proper guidance of a senior colleague

Fluent in English and one other European language (Norwegian or German are a big plus)
