Job description – About the role
As a Project Logistics Professional, you support Project Logistics Management (PLM) in coordinating and executing logistical activities within projects. You ensure that materials and products are available to the customer on time and in the correct manner. You work closely with suppliers, procurement, logistics service providers, and internal departments, and actively contribute to the success of projects through structure, overview, and problem-solving capabilities.
Your responsibilities
- Maintaining, updating, and communicating logistics information such as master data, delivery schedules, stock and order statuses, and contract details
- Analyzing operational logistics status and informing stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
- Preparing and communicating shortage and status reports regarding material and product availability
- Registering and handling complaints and transport damages in collaboration with internal departments and external parties
- Coordinating return flows of logistics infrastructure and on-site equipment and managing logistics service providers
- Supporting the development, calculation, and implementation of contingency and alternative logistics measures
- Contributing to project evaluations and optimizing project-specific customer supply processes
- Supporting Project Logistics Management (PLM) in tender activities and supplier evaluations (where applicable)
Qualifications
- You have at least 3 years of proven experience in heavy cargo logistics, including the transport of oversized or heavy goods such as industrial installations or construction equipment
- You have experience coordinating logistics activities within projects and working with multiple stakeholders
- You are capable of managing, analyzing, and clearly communicating logistics data
- You identify bottlenecks and translate them into practical and workable solutions
- You have experience preparing reports related to logistics progress and material availability
- You are able to handle complaints and transport damages in a structured manner
- You have experience managing logistics processes and external service providers
- You have a strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive, results-oriented attitude
