Your role in our shared journey
Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how ASICS grows and strengthens its presence across Racket Sports. As Global Marketing Specialist for Greater Tennis, you will lead end-to-end campaign development for Padel, serve as the OneASICS day-to-day lead for Tennis, and build deep expertise in the consumer dynamics of Tennis, Padel, and Pickleball — a category that is rapidly gaining global momentum. You will sit at the intersection of campaign leadership, consumer insight, and cross-functional execution, working with global and regional teams, external agencies, and key internal stakeholders to bring Racket Sports to life for consumers around the world.
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports on the planet, Pickleball is emerging as a genuine global opportunity, and Tennis continues to be a cornerstone of the ASICS brand. As a leading voice in shaping how ASICS shows up credibly and compellingly across all three, you will influence not just campaign execution but category direction. This is a role for a consumer-obsessed marketer who thrives on ownership, loves the energy of Racket Sports, and is ready to drive the next phase of growth for the CPS category.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead global Padel campaigns end-to-end — from campaign briefing and concept development through to production, regional rollout, toolkit creation, and post-launch follow-up and evaluation.
- Manage external agency partners and key internal stakeholders throughout the campaign process, ensuring strong creative quality, brand consistency, and operational excellence at every stage.
- Develop campaign toolkits that enable clear, consistent, and locally relevant activation across regions and markets globally.
- Serve as the OneASICS day-to-day lead for Racket Sports — building deep platform expertise and driving key initiatives that support the strategic goals of the category.
- Own and champion consumer insights for Racket Sports, developing a clear and nuanced understanding of the distinct motivations, behaviours, and needs of Tennis, Padel, and Pickleball consumers — and translating those insights into how ASICS shows up in a relevant and credible way across each sport.
- Translate consumer and market insights into actionable recommendations that shape campaigns, messaging, and strategic direction across the Greater Tennis category.
- Monitor the Pickleball landscape closely — tracking market developments, consumer shifts, and emerging growth opportunities — and build ASICS’ readiness to activate meaningfully in this space as priorities evolve.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Marketing, Brand, Sports Marketing, regional teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure strong alignment from strategy through to execution.
You have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4–5 years of experience in global or regional marketing, campaign development, or category marketing — ideally within a sports, lifestyle, or consumer brand environment.
- Proven ability to lead integrated 360° campaigns from briefing through to execution and post-campaign evaluation.
- Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously without losing quality or momentum.
- Experience managing external agency partners and creative or media production processes.
- Consumer-first mindset, with the ability to turn insight into clear, actionable marketing recommendations that influence both campaign execution and strategic direction.
- Genuine passion for Tennis, Padel, Pickleball, and the broader Racket Sports landscape — credible knowledge of the category and its consumers is a meaningful advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international, cross-cultural environment.
Proactive, organised, and hands-on approach — comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward independently.
Nice-to-haves:
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience with digital platforms, content marketing, or social media within a sports or lifestyle context is a plus.
Familiarity with the OneASICS platform or similar direct-to-consumer loyalty or membership ecosystems is a plus.
