Your Mission
As Junior L&D Coordinator, you are the go-to person for anyone with a question about training, learning, or the Marlink Training Academy LMS, whether that's a colleague, a trainer, or a business stakeholder. You keep our learning operations running smoothly day to day: coordinating schedules, supporting learners, maintaining the platform, and making sure everything behind the scenes is properly organised.
You don't need a background in L&D to succeed in this role - what matters is that you're organised, easy to reach, good with people, and genuinely curious to learn how a global Learning & Development function works. We'll teach you the rest.
Main Tasks
- Day-to-day LMS administration: enrolments, learner management, course setup
- First point of contact for learners, trainers, and stakeholders
- Coordinating training schedules and logistics across Business Units
- Supporting the planning and rollout of new learning programmes
- Monitoring course completions, sending reminders, and following up on open actions
- Preparing reports and overviews for the L&D team and the business
- Assisting with communication about training initiatives (e.g. newsletters, reminders)
- Keeping the training catalogue tidy and up to date
Who You Are
- You're outgoing and comfortable being the first point of contact for many different people
- You take initiative and follow through, and you feel at home in a fast-paced environment.
- You're organised and don't lose track, even when several things are happening at once, multitasking is yor second nature
- You enjoy structure, coordination, and making processes run smoothly
- There's plenty of room for your own ideas and input - we're not looking for someone who just follows a script.
- You're curious about Learning & Development and want to grow into the field
- You're curious about how AI can make your work easier and more effective, and you're keen to learn new tools.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written - that's essential, and confident Dutch is a strong plus.
Qualifications & Background
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level
- A background in business administration, hospitality, event coordination, or similar is a plus. Your organisational skills and people-focused mindset matter more than your specific field of study. L&D experience is not required
- Affinity with learning, training, or people development
- An interest in how AI can support learning and daily work is a plus
- Comfortable working with digital tools and systems (LMS experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
- Available 4 days per week.
