Tesla's Service business - and related Logistics and Supply Chain network - is growing and evolving at warp speed and so must the related Service & Parts supply planning to ensure smooth upkeep, servicing and customer satisfaction.
We are hiring an EMEA Inventory Planner to join our Channel Planning team in Amsterdam. As part of the wider Logistics and Supply Chain organisation, the Channel Planning team controls the supply and demand management of service parts, by ensuring we have the right amount of parts at the right place, at the right time for the best possible cost.
While other teams will assist in the background with planning and operations (DC Planning, Demand Planning…), the Channel Inventory Planner is at the forefront and is the first link to Service teams and Parts teams. The Planner will work in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Parts, Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Material Planning, and Demand Planning.
What You'll Do-
Regular reviews of Min-Max points and Part Consumption
- Identification of over-/underestimated volumes, missing parts or inefficiencies and alignment of correction with stakeholders
- Maintaining regular contact with stakeholders across multiple channels and responding to local needs (short term trends, Service campaigns, seasonality, escalations…)
- Maintaining and reviewing FOQs/MOQs to optimize quantity, packaging, and shipments of parts from distribution centers
- Running regular analyses and data deep-dives to continuously drive innovative initiatives thereby improving the overall parts planning and availability performance, reducing cost of operation, and improving customer satisfaction
- Supporting the Channel Planning Manager in measuring, controlling, and improving the end-to-end KPIs, through root-cause analyses and identifying system gaps and data discrepancies

Excellent communication and project management skills

Proficiency in data analysis tools: excellence in Excel is a prerequisite; SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI are a strong plus

Strategic thinking and planning, 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing or Logistics are a plus

Ability to work under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand despite changes in work scope or focus

Passionate and high energy, with strong spoken and written communication skills to positively influence others
