We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager, Benelux to lead and accelerate our growth in one of GPN’s strategically important European markets. This role owns the commercial performance, strategic direction, and executional excellence across the Benelux region. You will lead the development of the cross-channel 3‑year growth strategy, strengthen performance across specialty, distributors, retail, high street, and ecommerce channels, and build strong customer and partner relationships.
You will also lead and develop a team of two direct reports, shaping a high-performance culture that delivers sustainable growth. Responsibilities
Commercial Delivery & Market Growth
- Deliver sales, profit, distribution, and execution targets in line with annual KPIs.
- Strengthen distribution and visibility across specialty, retail, high street, and ecommerce channels.
- Own the Benelux P&L, leading pricing, margin, investment, and profitability decisions.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across channels and customers.
- Ensure premium brand execution aligned with global and regional brand standards.
Strategic Market Development
- Lead the creation of the 3-Year Market Strategy, setting a clear cross-channel roadmap for sustainable growth.
- Shape the medium- to long‑term commercial plan based on market, shopper, and category insight.
- Lead the Annual Business Planning (ABP) process and secure cross-functional alignment.
- Build business cases to unlock scale (opportunity sizing, customer prioritisation, channel evolution, portfolio strategy).
- Anticipate market changes and ensure the business remains agile and future-focused.
Customer & Partner Leadership
- Lead senior-level customer relationships and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
- Drive customer negotiations and joint business planning across pricing, investment, and category initiatives.
- Identify consumer and shopper opportunities and convert them into commercial wins.
- Strengthen distributor and key account performance through clear planning and execution standards.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Category and Insights teams to drive data-led decision making.
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute impactful, insight-driven activations.
- Provide Benelux-specific insights to help shape regional commercial and brand strategy.
- Support digital visibility and performance by partnering with ecommerce and D2C teams.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of two direct reports, building capability across account management, planning, and execution.
- Create a culture of clarity, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the team and wider organisation.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- 7+ years in commercial roles within FMCG, sports nutrition, health & wellness, or related categories.
- Experience across multiple channels (e.g., specialty, retail, distributors, ecommerce).
- Proven P&L ownership with strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Track record of delivering consistent growth and building strong customer partnerships.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into action.
- Outstanding commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
- Insight-led, comfortable working with data, category thinking, and analytics.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in a matrix environment.
- High energy, resilient, proactive, and entrepreneurial.
- Fluent English & Dutch required.
