As a Project Manager at TMC, you work on integral, technical projects within areas such as infrastructure, mobility, energy transition, water safety, and area development. These are projects where civil engineering, environment, contracts, and execution converge. You are responsible for organizing and managing the project, steering it in terms of planning, finances, risks, scope, and quality.
You handle diverse assignments for entities like (local) governments, water boards, contractors, grid operators, and engineering and consulting firms. The size and stage of the projects vary, but the core of your role remains the same: managing projects integrally in technically complex environments. You have a sufficient understanding of the technical aspects to ask the right questions, make assessments, and effectively guide the project team, without needing to be the specialist yourself.
Within the projects, you work with recognized project management methodologies such as IPMA, PRINCE2, or similar approaches. You apply these methodologies pragmatically and continue to develop yourself in this regard. You will also have the opportunity and support to deepen your technical knowledge further, depending on your ambitions and the type of projects you wish to undertake.
