As a Groups & Events Planning Executive, you are responsible for transforming confirmed business into exceptional guest experiences. From contract signature through to final invoicing, you coordinate every detail to ensure each group stay, meeting and event is delivered seamlessly, efficiently and to the highest operational standards.
You are the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning journey, building trusted relationships while working closely with operational departments to deliver memorable experiences. Every interaction reflects our ROYAL Feeling, ensuring guests not only receive excellent service but also feel genuinely welcomed, valued and cared for.
By anticipating needs, solving challenges proactively and maintaining clear communication, you contribute to guest satisfaction, operational excellence and the commercial success of the hotel.

The newest hotel of our chain is located directly at metro station Overamstel. The location of this 4-star superior hotel is ideal: 5 minutes from the Zuidas and the RAI, 10 minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport. WHO ARE YOU ?
As a Groups & Events Planning Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering successful group bookings, meetings, conferences, and events from contract signing through final invoicing. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, you will ensure every event is planned flawlessly, maintain strong customer relationships, and collaborate closely with operational departments to create exceptional guest experiences.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Experience in groups and events coordination, hotel operations, conference and banqueting, or hospitality sales is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Opera Cloud is an advantage.
Success in this role comes from delivering seamless events, anticipating guest needs, identifying revenue opportunities, and working effectively across departments to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and commercial success.
