You will make a real difference by:

Run our monthly and/or four-weekly payroll cycles together with your Van Oord Payroll colleagues

Review and approve payroll output based on earlier-received input (bonuses, travel costs, overtime, project allowances, etc.) from our stakeholders. Liaise as needed with HR, Finance, and/or local authorities on same

Ensure compliance with both local Dutch and International legislation, and internal control standards

Support audits and reconciliations (salary vs. general ledger)

Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives
YOUR WORKPLACE
You will join our Finance community in Rotterdam, where payroll is managed as part of a close-knit and motivated team of 8. Together, we support colleagues in the Netherlands and around the world. You will work with HR, Finance, external providers and auditors, giving you a broad perspective on how payroll connects to the wider organisation. We combine professionalism with a human approach — we take our work seriously, but also care about each other.
