About Evos Technical Team: The Technical team is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assets across all terminals. The team focuses on maintenance, asset integrity, engineering, and continuous improvement of technical performance.
Working closely with Operations, HSSEQ, IT/OT, Procurement and external partners, the department plays a key role in driving innovation, improving reliability, and enhancing safety standards across the organization. The adoption of advanced technologies is an important enabler in achieving these goals.
About the role: Following a strategic focus on innovation and improving operational and maintenance performance, Evos has established the role of Group Advanced Technology & Innovations Program Manager.
This is a senior, hands-on role with a high level of ownership, focused on identifying, testing, and implementing advanced technologies to improve safety, asset reliability, and operational efficiency across all terminals.
You will play a key role in driving the adoption of technologies such as robotics, drones, and advanced inspection tools (e.g. NDT), translating operational challenges into practical and scalable solutions with tangible impact in the field.
Operating across terminals with a strong field presence, you will lead pilot projects end-to-end. From use case definition through to deployment and scaling. Ensuring that successful innovations are embedded into daily operations.
Positioned within the Technical Department and reporting to the Group Technical Manager, you will closely collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Operational Excellence, IT/OT, and Procurement. As the Group subject matter expert, you will actively shape how new technologies are applied across Evos and contribute directly to safer, more efficient, and more reliable operations.
Key responsibilities
Identify and assess relevant technologies (e.g. drones, robotics, NDT tools) and translate operational challenges into practical use cases
Build and manage a pipeline of high-impact innovation initiatives across terminals
Design and execute pilot projects with terminals and technology providers, and scale successful solutions across the network
Develop and implement innovative inspection and maintenance solutions (e.g. in-service inspections, drones, portable tools)
Explore and deploy technologies to improve day-to-day operations and field productivity
Ensure integration of new technologies into existing systems (e.g. CMMS, TMS) and support data-driven decision making
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Maintenance, HSSEQ, IT/OT, Procurement) and external partners
Support and train site teams in adopting new technologies and act as subject matter expert across the organization
Work location
This role is based within the Netherlands, with regular travel and collaboration across international terminals.
